Compare the Fairy Tales

If you compare the fairy tales and folk tales from around the world, you'd find that many of them are very similar. These two, from Canada and Europe, share similarities, but also have differences. In this reading and writing worksheet, fourth and fifth graders will put their fiction comprehension skills to use as they read two fairy tales and then use a Venn diagram to compare and contrast similar themes and topics across the stories.
