Comparing Matter #2

Learn about the similarities and differences between objects in this colorful science worksheet! In each of the five problems, students will be presented with a group of three objects. They will need to decide which of the provided words describes all three objects, then describe in their own words one way the objects are different. 

This worksheet is a good choice for second graders learning to use their observation skills to determine the different properties of objects. Students will practice sorting objects by properties such as color, texture, and state of matter. The ability to identify and describe these properties is vital when making scientific observations and deductions.
