Composing 3D Shapes: What's Missing?

Build with blocks in this colorful worksheet on three-dimensional shapes! Young students will first cut out the shapes at the bottom of the page. Then, they will look at each structure and the set of 3D shapes that composes them. However—each set is missing one shape! Students will need to paste their cut-out shapes in the correct sets to show all the shapes in each structure.

This worksheet is a fun activity for kindergartners and first graders learning to decipher the 3D shapes present in larger structures. Learners can strengthen their spatial reasoning and problem-solving skills as they prepare to learn more complex geometric concepts and identify places they can find 3D shapes in real life.
