Worksheet

Count the Parallel Sides in Shapes

Get practice with pairs of parallel lines in this geometry worksheet! Students will be presented with 10 different shapes with between zero and eight sides. They will need to count the pairs of parallel sides in each shape, then write the number in the table.

This worksheet was designed for students in fourth grade working on identifying and counting parallel sides in two-dimensional shapes. Learners can practice applying the definition of parallel lines to shapes, a skill that they will need as they learn more about geometry and the properties of different shapes.
