Crossword Puzzle: Earth Day

Learn more about our planet with this fun crossword puzzle! Learners will read each of seven clues, then refer to the word bank to find the word that best completes the sentence. Each word connects back to Earth Day, such as windmills, garden, and plant. 

This activity is an engaging way for second and third graders to practice reading, strengthen their spelling skills, and build their vocabulary. By solving crossword puzzles, students can also work on critical thinking and problem-solving, both of which can help students succeed inside and outside of the classroom.
