CVC Scramble: Short o

Get on top of your phonics skills with this short o spelling worksheet! Learners will be presented with six scrambled three-letter words. They will have to unscramble the letters and write the correct word based on the picture clue. This worksheet includes short o CVC words such as cob, dog, and mop. 

Intended for kindergarteners and first graders, this worksheet is a great choice for helping young readers and writers strengthen their spelling skills. Learners will practice isolating individual sounds, or phonemes, in words. They’ll also work on other foundational skills, such as identifying initial, median, and final sounds.
