Worksheet

Describing Matter #3

What words would you use to describe honey—sticky, sweet, liquid, or maybe even gold? Practice describing different objects and substances in this colorful worksheet! Learners will be presented with six different objects with pictures. They will then need to choose which two of the four words correctly describes each object.

This worksheet was designed to prompt students to think about the objects in the world around them and their respective qualities, including their size, texture, color, shape, and state of matter. With these skills, learners will have the vocabulary to effectively communicate and describe the physical world around them.
