Design a Town!

Build a town that is all your own in this creative worksheet! Students will be given a blank grid map to draw their town on. They’ll need to include a number of features according to the provided parameters, including roads, a park, a school, and places for people to live. Then, they can color their town! 

This worksheet is a fun resource to help students deepen their understanding of the needs of a community. As they draw in each type of building and landmark, they can reflect on the different places in their own town and the functions they serve. Give this worksheet to early finishers or use it as a creative activity during downtime.
