Dividing Positive and Negative Decimals #1

Practice dividing with negative decimals in this seventh-grade worksheet! Learners will solve 12 decimal division problems in total. At least one value in each expression will be negative, challenging students to keep track of whether the resulting answer is positive or negative.

This worksheet will build on students’ knowledge of decimal operations and working with negative numbers. As learners become more familiar with rational decimal division, they can begin to approximate irrational square or cube roots. Students can also operate with rational expressions as they move into algebra.
