Dividing With Mixed Numbers #3

Strengthen your fraction division skills with this worksheet involving mixed numbers! Students will work through 10 problems that require division with a mixed number. Though learners can use any strategy they choose to find the answer, a common practice is to rewrite the mixed number as a fraction, then multiply by the reciprocal.

This practice challenges sixth graders to strengthen their knowledge of fraction division by introducing division with mixed numbers. Learners will also be reminded of what mixed numbers represent as they convert mixed numbers to fractions.

This worksheet is the last in this series, so make sure to try Dividing With Mixed Numbers #1 and Dividing With Mixed Numbers #2. For more practice, check out Dividing Fractions and Whole Numbers #1.
