Elements of Poetry: Waking Up in the Garden

Leap into the budding spring season with this delightful poetry analysis worksheet! Students will read a short poem about winter turning to spring and draw a picture for each stanza. Then, they will answer questions about the poem’s rhyme scheme and instances of figurative language including personification, metaphors, and similes.
