Express Yourself! Interjection Practice #2

Yippee! Get excited to practice using interjections! Students will read a brief introduction that explains how interjections are used and punctuated in sentences. Then, they’ll read about eight scenarios and construct their own responses using the interjections from the word bank, making sure their response matches the tone of each scenario. 

Use this worksheet to give fifth through eighth graders some fun practice using and punctuating interjections in their writing. Interjection practice can give learners a better understanding of how they can make use of the parts of speech to write expressively with correct grammar.
