Fact Families: Multiply and Divide #2

Fly through fact families in this third-grade worksheet! To start, learners will figure out the missing number in each fact family triangle. Students are then asked to write two multiplication equations and two division equations that reflect the fact family.

Practicing fact families will strengthen students’ fact fluency and their understanding of the relationship between multiplication and division. Fluency is necessary as students progress to working with larger numbers in more complex equations—memorizing facts within 100 can ensure accuracy and speed when solving math problems.

This worksheet is the second in the series, so make sure to finish out your practice with Fact Families: Multiply and Divide #1 and Fact Families: Multiply and Divide #3.
