Crazy Stories: A Trip to the Beach

A trip to the beach takes a crazy turn in this exciting fill-in-the-blank activity! Without reading any of the story, students start by filling in all of the blank lines with the appropriate parts of speech, including names, numbers, verbs, nouns and, adjectives. Once all of the blanks are filled in, students read their fun stories. 

This worksheet is perfect for third graders learning about the different parts of speech and how each of them are used in sentences. Learners can have fun telling a funny story while also building foundational grammar knowledge that will help them write stories all on their own!
