Worksheet

Find Mean, Median, and Mode

Sharpen your statistics skills with this sixth-grade worksheet! Learners are presented with six unique datasets. For each one, students must find the mean, median and mode, rounding to the nearest tenth when necessary. Then, for a challenge, young mathematicians will work backwards to find a missing value by using the mean, median, and mode.

Finding the mean, median, and mode of a set of data is a fundamental skill for statistics. These three numbers help describe a dataset and challenge students to work with the data. Learning to interpret data will benefit students as they begin to compare datasets and draw inferences.
