Be picky with your words and find only the tricky rhyming pairs in this engaging worksheet! Students will be asked to answer 12 questions by selecting the two words that rhyme in each set. Then, they’ll need to write their own rhyming pair. Be careful—these rhyming words may end with the same sound, but they don’t end with the same spelling! 

Intended for first and second graders, this worksheet is a great choice for phonics practice! Learners will need to analyze the ways that words with different spelling patterns can make the same sounds and rhyme.
