Finding the Part, Whole, or Percent #2

Combine your knowledge of ratios, rates, and proportions to percents in this sixth-grade worksheet! Each of the 12 problems will ask students to find the missing value in statements describing that a part is a certain percent of a whole number. Learners can use a proportion or ratio to determine the value of the missing part, whole, or percent. 

This worksheet is a great exercise for prompting students to connect ratio and rate reasoning to percents, allowing them to understand that a percent of a quantity is a rate per 100. Students can use these skills not only as they learn more advanced math concepts, but also in their everyday lives.
