Forms of a Number: Dice Challenge

Roll a die to practice place value with this fourth- and fifth-grade worksheet! To create each number, students will roll a die six times, writing each number they roll into any of the blank boxes. Then, learners are challenged to write the six-digit number in word form and expanded form.

This engaging exercise will familiarize students with the place value of numbers in the hundred thousands. Learners will also get to practice writing numbers in expanded form and word form based on their standard form, helping to build number sense.
