Get into Grammar: Complete or Incomplete?

What makes a sentence a sentence? It's easy to goof up on this grammar rule. The tricky part about sentences is that length is unimportant, but instead, it's the parts of speech that make a sentence a sentence. A string of words must contain both a subject and a predicate, or else it's not a sentence. Get your child familiar with sentences with this fun worksheet that asks her to practice labeling each group of words as "incomplete" or "complete."
