Halloween Read and Draw

Show off your scary good reading skills with this first- and second-grade worksheet! Learners will read each Halloween-themed sentence, then draw a picture to match the sentence. In the last sentence, students get to write what they’re dressing up as, then draw themselves in costume!

This activity is designed to give early readers a fun and seasonal way to build reading comprehension skills. Each sentence also tests students’ understanding of nouns, verbs, and adjectives as they draw big pumpkins, flying bats, and little cats.
