Hop Into Symmetry Practice

Get ready to draw a cute frog in this geometry activity! The left side of a grid has already been printed with half of an image of a frog. Students will need to use the grid lines to help them complete the right side of the image, making sure it is a mirror image of the left side. 

Designed for third graders, this activity is the perfect choice for practicing or reviewing the concept of symmetry. Students can better understand that something symmetrical has two sides that are the same when flipped over a center line. This activity also allows students to hone their attention to detail and drawing skills!
