Robot KenKen® Puzzle

This little puzzle is a great way to get your students started on KenKen®! It's a fun math logic game that comes from Japan. Your student will need to use a variety of operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) to fill in this grid. Many math teachers are using puzzles in the classroom, because they help students become better problem solvers. Get your students using their logical thinking skills, as they work through the grid and decide where each number belongs. Here's how:

Using the digits 1–4 in this 4x4 puzzle, fill the small squares with digits so as not to repeat a digit in any row or column, and so that the digits within each heavily outlined area will equal that area’s corner number when combined using the indicated operation.
