Light and Objects #1

Shed some light on the interactions between objects and light with this science worksheet! Some objects allow light to pass through, while others block light. In this activity, learners will examine four pairs of common objects—each pair includes an object that lets light through and one that does not. Students must identify and circle the object that is see-through.

Created for kindergarteners and first graders, this worksheet is a great way to introduce young scientists to the behavior of light. Identifying objects that let light pass through also provides foundational knowledge for exploring the properties of objects and materials.
