Worksheet
Linear Equations From Tables: True or False #3
Test the accuracy of linear equations in this eighth-grade algebra worksheet! In each problem, students will look at a linear equation in slope-intercept form and a table of x and y values. They’ll need to determine whether the equation represents the relationship described by the values in the table.
Use this worksheet to help students boost their understanding of two of the different ways to represent linear equations. They can practice substituting the values from the table in for the variables in the equation to verify that the equation is true for each set of values. For additional practice, students can correct the “false” equations so they reflect the tables.
