Missing Symbols: Multiplication & Division Fact Fluency

Track down the lost symbols in this engaging third-grade worksheet! Each of these nine problems will give students an equation including all three numbers, but no symbol. Students will need to decide whether the multiplication or division symbol should go in the equation. Or, if neither makes the equation true, they’ll write their own equation using two of the three numbers in the original equation. This worksheet includes facts within 100.

This worksheet is a great way to have students practice their multiplication and division fact fluency skills. As learners begin to quickly recognize multiplication and division facts, they build a vital math foundation that will support them as they learn trickier skills, such as multiplication and division with numbers in the hundreds, thousands, and beyond.

Keep working on your multiplication and division skills in The Case of the Missing Numbers: Multiplication and Division, Multiplication and Division Within 100 Maze, and Multiplication and Division Fact Fluency: Matching.
