Money in the Bank #5

Count up the cash in your piggy bank with this addition worksheet! Students must add together the two dollar amounts to find the total amount of money in each piggy bank. Once students are finished, they will look at each of the sums to determine which amount is the smallest and which amount is the largest. Each sum is within $100, and some problems will require regrouping. 

This worksheet helps second graders practice one- and two-digit addition in the context of money. Being able to add dollar amounts will support students as they add with change, solve money-based word problems, and use money in their everyday lives.
