My Many Feelings

Take a moment to reflect on your emotions with this thoughtful worksheet for first and second graders! Learners will think about times they are happy, sad, excited, mad, nervous, and silly. Students are asked to complete the sentence for each emotion, then draw a picture to match.

This social-emotional learning activity gives students an opportunity to think about how they handle and process a variety of emotions. Teachers and parents alike can also use this resource to support their young learners: teachers can learn about the emotional needs of their students, while parents can prompt conversations about these emotions at home. Emotional awareness is an important skill to develop as students navigate different situations and relationships in their daily lives.
