My Vacation: Part 3

Get excited about going into nature as you read this passage about a camping trip! The third part of the “My Vacation” story describes a family’s drive to their campsite and the changing environment outside their car. Learners will answer multiple-choice questions about the information that can be found in several text excerpts. They will also identify vocabulary words with multiple meanings and use them in their own sentences. Finally, students will draw pictures of important moments from each of the three parts of the “My Vacation” story. 

Intended for third graders, this worksheet is a good choice for practicing important reading comprehension skills. Learners will need to read the text carefully to determine what information they gain from each sentence. They can gain a better understanding of words with multiple meanings and practice identifying important moments in a story.
