Noun Town #1

Explore all the fun people, places, and things in noun town! This engaging worksheet helps students in first grade identify nouns in simple sentences.

First graders read five sentences about a town and circle all the nouns (person, animal, place, or thing) in each sentence. Then, they write their own sentence in the spaces provided, circling the nouns as they did in the first section. Finally, students draw a picture that explains what’s in their sentence.
