Number Puzzle: Mixed Operations #2

Unravel equations made of colorful symbols in this camping-themed worksheet! Students will solve a series of equations with some or all values replaced by symbols. They will need to determine what number each symbol stands for, then use their number “code” to solve for the rest of the symbols! 

Use this worksheet to give third graders unique, engaging practice with all four basic operations. Students will use their knowledge of math alongside their logic skills to find each value, improving both their fact fluency and critical thinking. This worksheet can also prepare students to take on more advanced skills like substituting values.
