My Personal Expressions: Write a Short Story

Everyone, from Uncle Albert to the librarian at school, has their own set of expressions that they love to use in conversation over and over again. Fifth graders, in particular, are often a wealth of unique, inventive expressions! Encourage your child to extend his verbal creativity into a creative writing activity by penning a short story incorporating a few of his well-loved trademark sayings.
