Rational and Irrational Numbers: Hidden Number #1

Excite young learners with this fun-filled activity as they differentiate between rational and irrational numbers! Students at the eight-grade level will color in each box containing an irrational number to reveal a mystery number at the end. Once they’ve uncovered the number, students will determine if the mystery number revealed on the grid is rational or irrational. 

Building on foundational principles they’ve learned through classwork, young mathematicians will hone their skills in number theory and gain confidence in modeling decimals through this worksheet.
