Read and Color National Symbols: Australia

Investigate the symbols and wildlife of Australia in this informative coloring worksheet! Students will read about the Australian flag, the golden wattle, kangaroos, and the Great Barrier Reef and color corresponding pictures. Then, they will show what they have learned by filling in four sentences about Australia.

This activity was designed to teach second, third, and fourth graders about the country of Australia’s symbols and values. As students learn more about different countries, they can begin to deepen bonds across borders and build their civic and global awareness. They may even learn some new vocabulary words!

Learn about more countries here: Read and Color National Symbols: Mexico, Read and Color National Symbols: France, and Read and Color National Symbols: Kenya.
