Read and Color National Symbols: India

Study some of the most important symbols of India in this informational coloring worksheet! Students will first read about four of India’s national symbols: the flag of India, the lotus, the Bengal tiger, and the Ganges River. Then, they will color pictures of each symbol and complete sentences about the symbols to show what they have learned. 

This worksheet was designed for second, third, and fourth graders learning more about countries around the world. Learning about a country’s symbols can give students a better understanding of that country’s culture and values, building their civic and global awareness.
