Reader's Theater: First Thanksgiving

This Reader's Theater activity is festive Thanksgiving fun for the whole family! With parts for a narrator, mother, father, grandmother, brother, and sister, this play will teach students (and adults) about common misconceptions and myths surrounding the "first" Thanksgiving. Assign parts to family members or students and act out this engaging four-page dialogue!

Designed for fourth graders, this activity is a great way to cut through myth and misinformation and help students learn about the real history of Thanksgiving. Students will also practice reading aloud and can even show off their acting skills!
