Reading Fiction: The Dog Ate My Homework
Build third and fourth graders’ reading fluency with this short story! This story follows Kim, a student who made excuses for not turning in her homework and has to cancel her weekend plans to catch up. As students read through this one-page fiction passage, they will focus on reading with speed, accuracy, and expression.
