Reading Fluency Practice: Curious Benjamin

Learn about some of Benjamin Franklin’s discoveries in this reading fluency practice! Students will read a 186-word passage that highlights Benjamin Franklin’s invention of the lightning rod and bifocal glasses. As students read the passage aloud, teachers can set a timer and use the word count on the right side of the page to find a student’s words per minute.
