Relative Pronouns: Trip to the Movie Theater

Write relative pronouns in context as you read about an outing to see a movie! Students can first read the introduction, which tells them about common relative pronouns such as who, whom, whose, which, and that. Then, they will read through the 10 sentences and complete them by writing the best relative pronoun in the blank space. 

This worksheet was designed with fourth and fifth graders in mind. It’s a great choice for introducing students to the concept of relative pronouns. The ability to identify and use the most common relative pronouns can improve students’ reading comprehension and help them write grammatically correct sentences.
