Worksheet
Rhyme or No Rhyme? #1
Learn to rhyme all the time with this fun early literacy worksheet! In each of these 10 problems, young learners will be shown a pair of pictures (such as a hat and a cat). They’ll say the name of each picture out loud and decide if the two words rhyme. If they do, they’ll color the smiling face, and if not, they’ll color the frowning face.
This worksheet was designed to build the phonemic awareness of preschoolers through first graders. Practice with hearing rhymes in words can help students become better at hearing and identifying word patterns. These skills can help students develop a strong foundation for reading and spelling.
