Rhyme Time: Spring Flowers

Show what you know with this spring-themed rhyming worksheet! Students will read the words in each flower and determine if they rhyme. If the words are a rhyming pair, learners are asked to color in the flower. At the end, students will have grown a colorful garden of rhyming words!

Created for first and second graders, this hands-on worksheet will help students recognize and isolate the ending sound of a word. By focusing on the ending sounds, early readers will build phonological awareness and become more aware of individual letter sounds. Students may also realize that different letter combinations can make the same sound.
