Rhyme Time: Summer Suns

Beat the heat this summer with the help of this rhyming worksheet! Students will read the words in each sun and determine whether or not they rhyme. If they rhyme, learners are asked to color in the sun. Can you find all six rhyming pairs?

Created for first and second graders, this worksheet will help early readers develop phonological awareness. By focusing on the ending sounds, learners will practice isolating individual phonemes in a word, which can improve students’ abilities to read and spell words.
