Same Topic, Different Perspectives: Snow Days

There are so many ways to enjoy a chilly snow day! Read about some of them in this cheerful worksheet! Students will first read the two passages that describe the snow day experiences of two different people. Learners will then read a set of opinion statements and decide which author would most likely agree with each one based on what they wrote in their passages. 

This worksheet was intended for fifth and sixth graders working on vital reading comprehension and literacy skills. Learners will analyze what each of the passages and make inferences based on evidence from the text, even though the passages don’t explicitly state what the author’s thoughts on each opinion are.
