Worksheet
Sight Word Dash Board Game #1
Dash from start to finish using your reading skills in this engaging activity! Students will roll a die and color the corresponding number of spaces. They’ll read the sight word in each space as they go. They can continue rolling and coloring until they have crossed through all 34 sight words and reached the end of the path.
Use this activity to give first and second graders a fun way to practice recognizing and reading common words such as have, your, and said. Many sight words have irregular spelling, making it vital for students to get plenty of experience with them. Learners can build their sight word automaticity, which will support fluent, confident reading.
