Sight Word Dash Board Game #2

See how quickly you can reach the end of this sight word board! In this worksheet, students will roll a die and color the corresponding number of spaces. As they go, they’ll read sight words like time, long, and part. They’ll keep rolling and coloring until they have read all 34 sight words and reached the finish line. 

This activity was designed for first and second graders working on reading some of the most common English words. Because many sight words have irregular spelling, it is important that students get plenty of practice reading them. This practice builds sight word automaticity, allowing students to read more fluently and confidently.
