Sight Word Fluency Practice: let, like, look

Take a look at some of the most common sight words and let this worksheet help you master them! Students will read 10 sentences that include one or more of the three sight words let, like, and look. Each time students read a sentence, they’ll color a star. They’ll read each sentence three times so that all of the stars are colored in. For a bonus challenge, they can draw a circle around the sight words in each sentence.

Designed for first graders, this worksheet is a great way to have students practice reading short sentences. This activity targets three common words and allows students to get comfortable seeing them in context. Practice with sight words can help students improve their automaticity and reading fluency.
