Sight Word Fluency Practice: said, see, sit

Sit down and see the sight words in this cheerful reading worksheet! Students will read 10 sentences including one or more of the three sight words said, see, and sit. Each time students read a sentence, they’ll color in a star until all of the stars have been colored in. As a bonus challenge, students can circle all of the sight words in each sentence. 

This worksheet was designed for first graders working on their reading automaticity and fluency. These sentences target three sight words, supporting students as they master recognizing and reading common words in context. With this practice, young readers can gain confidence reading short sentences quickly and accurately.
