Snowflake Sudoku

Don't let your mind go numb this winter break! Stay sharp with a challenging Sudoku puzzle! In this activity, students will need to fill out the blank spaces with numbers 1–9. In order to complete the puzzle correctly, students will have to make sure each number only appears once in each row, column, and block of the puzzle. 

This worksheet was designed for fifth graders who are up to the challenge of a tricky sudoku puzzle! It's a great activity for celebrating the winter season while also getting plenty of practice with problem solving and abstract thinking, two skills that will help students take on challenges both in the classroom and in real life.
