South America – A Land of Extremes: River Basins

Discover the rivers and wetlands of South America in this informational worksheet! Students will read brief passages about the Amazon basin, the Pantanal wetland, the Orinoco basin, and the Paraná basin. Then, they will describe how some of the physical features they learned about are geographic extremes. They will also answer three questions about the reading to show their understanding.
