Spelling Practice: Trip to the Farm

Cultivate your spelling skills as you frolic on the farm! In the first six questions in this worksheet, students will read sentences about a class trip to a farm. Learners will need to choose the correct spelling of one word in each sentence. In the next six sentences, students will need to write the correct spelling of the identified word. 

This worksheet was designed for fourth and fifth graders working on strengthening their knowledge of spelling patterns. They will draw on their existing skills to identify correctly spelled words and correct the spelling of grade-appropriate words. These skills are important for students as they write more complex words and sentences.
