Spelling Practice: Trip to the Library

Head over to the library to check out your spelling skills! In this worksheet, students will need to complete six sentences by deciding which of two spellings of a word is correct. Then, they will read six more sentences and write the correct spelling of the incorrectly spelled word in each one.

This worksheet was designed to test the spelling skills of fourth and fifth graders. Learners can call on their knowledge of spelling patterns, root words, and affixes to determine the correct spelling of each word. A strong understanding of spelling can also help students decode unfamiliar words!
